On the afternoon of May 23rd, 2019, the workshop was held in Sydney, Australia, with the aim of rapidly promoting Sino-Australia business cooperation, Sino-Australia brand exchange, and helping Australian brands to land in the Chinese market.

Australian media giants such as SBS, fashion magazine Bazaar, Australian newsgroup Newscorp, OzFarm Royal, Astragrace Corp Pty Ltd, Good Health, Living Nature, DU’IT, RAYDEL, Sinicare, The Jojoba Company, Bankwest, Bauer Media Group, Lanolin Beauty and other famous Australian media and business brands participated in the event with nearly 100 people. Mr. Zhang Guohua, President of the China Advertising Association (CAA) and Global Vice President of IAA, delivered a message on behalf of the Chinese advertising industry and announced the official establishment of the CAA Advertising Spokesman Committee in Sydney, the office of which is located in the SUM office of M-CC Circle Net Mutual Entertainment Australia Branch, and the award ceremony was held by Ms. Huo Yan, Assistant President of CAA, Director of the Membership Department and Secretary-General of CAAAC(the China Advertising Association Advertising Committee). SUM will serve as the Australian base for the CAA Advertising Spokesman Committee, providing policy guidance, risk avoidance, positive guidance and other standardization work for Australian brands’ entertainment marketing and online social communication in the Chinese market, helping Australian brands take root in the Chinese market

In addition, Ms. JANE, General Manager of SUM, shared the new trends and methods of social marketing in the Chinese market with the participating brands and conducted discussions and answered their questions in depth. Meanwhile, the famous Chinese video brand iQiyi, as a strategic partner of SUM, released its 2019 resource recommendations at the conference to provide more entertainment marketing resources for the vast Australian brands.

At the same time, the leaders of M-CC Circle Net Mutual Entertainment and the leaders of CAA visited Australian Broadcasting Network ARN and the Australian TV station SBS to discuss the development of brand marketing integration and cooperation opportunities between China and Australia.

ARN is Australia’s largest commercial broadcasting group, with a number of popular brands such as KIIS and PURE GOLD. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges in program production, advertising and operation. Discussions were held on holding an international electronic music festival, jointly inviting young people from both countries to produce Chinese-oriented radio programs, and helping Chinese brands enter the Australian market, and formed a preliminary cooperation intention.

SBS TV, the Australian television giant, is a diversified cultural television station funded by the Australian Federal Government and headed by the Australian Special Programmes Broadcasting Authority (ASPBA). The two sides discussed the media exposure habits of users and the differentiation of the media market, deepened the exchange of advertising technologies, models and creative ideas between China and Australia, and also discussed the cooperation and innovative models in the field of content and marketing, laying a solid foundation for Chinese brands to enter the Australian market.
